Puppy Training: Individual plus Workshop and Group Classes - Information and Pricing

 

ONE-ON-ONE PUPPY TRAINING SESSIONS (with focus on ALL the family) - One-hour Nuts and Bolts sessions and Pre-Puppy sessions

Please note that High Five Puppy Skills also caters to the older puppy for the individual session. The puppy must have one vaccination.

Individual, fun and informative sessions specialised for you, your family and your puppy covering the issues and training needs for your pup including:

• How your puppy will adapt to your lifestyle and family dynamics, especially young children.
• The ideal setup for puppy's time out, sleeping, home alone, and car travel.
• Dealing with those normal puppy traits - jumping, nipping, barking, and chewing.
• Using food for mental stimulation.
• Toileting.
• Communication, meeting people, and other dogs.
• Walking your puppy.
• Puppy fears.
• Focus (using clicker).
• Handling your puppy.
• How to play with your puppy.
• Impulse control.
• Problem solving.
• What is socialisation?
• The perfect recalls. 
• Sits and downs.
• Correction methods in a positive way.
• How to get your puppy to "chill" so that you can have some peace and quiet.
• Resource Guarding   

 

GROUP PUPPY CLASSES

For puppies 8 to 16 weeks of age.

Puppies must have had their first vaccination.

5 x weekly classes run midweek evenings in the Summer and Sunday morning/afternoon in the winter. This enables the puppies to have fun puppy play outside in the backyard.  (First session, humans only).

Maximum of 5 puppies.

Please note, we may need to limit the number of family members attending.

Classes held indoors. Puppy play outdoors.

Group Teenage Pup Classes for puppies 4 to 6 months of age.

Pups must be fully vaccinated.

4 x weekly classes running midweek, 6 pm to 7 pm.

Maximum of 4 puppies in class.

We may need to limit the number of family members attending.

The content of this class is the same as for the Individual Session (refer to the above) and, of course, socialisation with the other pups is included.
 

Content of Group Classes is the same as the Individual  Session (refer above) but of course ... there is PUPPY PLAY!!

Whatever you choose, Individual or Group Class ... no need to worry about forgetting what you learn ... you will get valuable information to take home for 1:1 sessions, and each Puppy class will be supported with emailed information.
